This airport has two runways of 3,800 m and 4,260 m in length. Last year in 2019-20, the airport handled 21 Million (2.1 crores) passenger traffic, 1.83 lakh aircraft movements, and 1.43 lakh cargo tonnage.

The airport is also a hub for many airlines. It operates 20 airlines to and from 32 destinations. For now, the airport is constructed on 2,000 acres, but the expansion of this airport is under planning and soon will be executed in the remaining 3,495 acres of land.
